Who can I hire to handle instagram marketing tools for my business?

What is Boomerang?

Boomerang is a video app that allows users to take short videos on their phone and play them on a loop. It is a combination between a stop-motion video and a GIF but combined together into one short video. Boomerang is an ideal app for capturing something that is moving in an interesting way, such as a person doing a cartwheel, cars moving, etc.

How to Use Boomerang

1. Download and Familiarize

Boomerang is an independent app from Instagram so you will need to go to the app store on your iOS or Android device to download it. To get familiar with the app there are four things you need to know. First, the shutter button in the bottom center that will capture the video. Second, the flip cam button (bottom right) that switches between your front and rear cameras. Third, the flash bottom (top right) that lets you choose if the flash is on or off. Fourth, you can quadruple tap the screen with four fingers to choose resolution, how the video repeats, and adjust the frame count and frame rate.

2. Find Something Interesting

It is important to remember that your followers want to see interesting content that is relevant to your business. You’ll want to look at your business from an outside perspective. Go behind the scenes to capture videos of employees or fun event going on. Show the products you sell in action to demonstrate how they work. Make an announcement about new product launches. You can even inspire people with new ways to use your products in their daily lives.

3. Preview Your Video and Upload

Once you have your idea nailed down, it is important to remember that motion is a key element. To work the app, you’ll need movement but make sure you hold the phone steady to capture the moving object. Once you have your video you’ll want to share it either by uploading it to your Instagram account or Instagram story. Once you have that done, you can edit the video to make it pop. You can choose a still frame for your video and on your story, you can add stickers and colorful text.
