New Google Update | Where Will My Content Rank?

Why do we write content consistently? It all comes back to Search Engine Optimization. SEO is the process of creating content that Google and other search engines will “like.” This is all in hopes that it’ll rank on the first page of search results, urging people to click on your website. However, we can’t always be sure as to where our content will land among the masses. Luckily, we got a new Google update from analyst John Mueller.

Why is Search Engine Optimization Important?

You want people to buy or use your product or service. Where are most people looking for those things? Nowadays, it’s online. But, in order to find them, you need search engines to put your site in their view. Search Engine Optimization is the process of getting your website and its content ranking, with the goal of getting on the first page.

Why is the new Google update important?

Where Will My Content Rank?

The update Mueller gave us is more of a clarification. It’s pretty improbable for your content to rank as number one the day you post it. Mueller says that it can take weeks for Google to crawl, index, and rank your link properly. So, the first day it may rank higher or lower and then settle down later on.

How Can I Write SEO-Friendly Content?

It’s not hard to write SEO-friendly content. Just know that it doesn’t automatically land you a first-page ranking. For starters, you need to choose relevant keywords that people will search. This should be in your title, URL, and spread throughout the content. You also need to be aware of the format so that it is an easy read for viewers. That is what Google will ultimately look for.
